Kate Bosworth´s second collaboration with Topshop was unveiled. Earlier this year, in the Spring time, Kate collaborated with Topshop to create a music festival inspired collection. Her first collection had a bohemian, carefree feel, in contrast to the very polished, minimalistic esthetic of this new project. Kate is already a jewelry designer for Jewelmint, and currently is working on her own line.
¨The collection is tailored and classic, for autumn we wanted to create luxurious pieces with a strong minimalist approach. Slim silhouettes are cloaked in a masculine shape, staying true to the masculine-femenine balance that exists in my personal aesthetic.¨ Bosworth explained.
The lookbook consists of photographs of Kate wearing the clothing. It was shot by her husband Michael Polish, and her styling is very simplistic. Kate models with wet hair and very natural makeup.
Ayer la segunda colaboración entre Kate Bosworth y Topshop fue revelada. Previamente en la primavera, de este mismo año, Kate colaboro con Topshop para crear una colección inspirada en festivales de música. Su primera colección tubo un estilo muy bohemio y despreocupado, en contraste a este nuevo proyecto en el que la estética es muy minimalista y refinada. Kate ya es diseñadora de accesorios para Jewelmint, y actualmente esta trabajando en su propia linea.
¨La coleccion es entallada y clásica, para otoño queriamos crear piezas lujosas con un gran toque minimalista. Silhuoettas delgadas encubridas en figuras masculinas, demostrando el balance entre masculino y femenino que existe en mi estética personal.¨ explico Bosworth.
El lookbook consiste de fotografias de Kate vestida en la ropa de la colección. Fue fotografiado por su esposo Michael Polish, y el styling es muy elemental. Kate modela con el pelo mojado y maquillaje muy natural.

The collection consists of 46 pieces designed by the Topshop design team but overseen by Kate as a style consultant. A great variety of textiles were used, from cotton basics to leather, sheepskin and metallic foil. As well as a number of accessories like belts, bags and sunglasses, all in the sharp minimalist style that the collection embodies. The colour palette is Mondrian inspired, solely using black, white and red for the larger amount of pieces. The prices have a wide range (£12.00 - £595.00) so there is something for everyone! I have a feeling the metallic foil pieces will be the most sought-after, and in my opinion the best part of the whole collection are the gorgeous leather stiletto pistol boots, in black and nude.
La colección consiste de 46 piezas diseñadas por el equipo de diseño de Topshop pero supervisadas por Kate como una consultante de estilo. Una gran variedad de textiles fueron usados, desde básicos en algodón hasta cuero, piel de oveja, y un material en lamina de metal. También hay un numero de accesorios como cinturones, bolsos, y gafas de sol, todos en el estilo minimalista que la colección personifica. La paleta de colores es inspirada por Mondrian, solo usando negro, blanco y rojo para la mayor cantidad de las piezas. Los precios tienen una ancha gama (£12.00 - £595.00) entonces hay algo para todos! Creo que las piezas metálicas van a ser las mas deseadas, y en mi opinión la mejor parte que toda la colección son las hermosas botas puntudas de cuero, en negro y piel.
